2017 Sally Field and Joe Mantello star in Tennessee Williams cover Glass factory, opening at the Belasco Theater. This is the second time that Field has played Southern matriarch Amanda Wingfield, having previously played the role in a 2004 production at the Kennedy Center.
2019 The world premiere of “Dad” by Jeremy O. Harris officially opens Off-Broadway at the Pershing Square Signature Center on March 5. Directed by Danya Taymor, the new drama is an exploration of intimacy and identity in which Basquiats, gospel and fantasy collide around a pool of Bel Air. The main actors are Ronald Peet, Alan Cumming and Charlayne Woodard.
2020 The Conor McPherson-Bob Dylan Musical Girl from the north of the country opens at the Belasco Theater on Broadway. The show, which features music from the Dylan catalog, is currently on hiatus due to the ongoing pandemic. Featuring a book and staging by McPherson, the Great Depression-era musical offers a glimpse into a small community in Duluth, Minnesota, where the Laine family operate a dilapidated guesthouse.
