Starring Jim Dale as Barnum and Glenn Close as his wife, Chairy, the musical ran for two years and won three Tony Awards, including Best Actor in a Musical for Dale.

Based on the film by Patricia Resnick (who also wrote the musical’s libretto), the story of the conflicts between female office workers and their macho male bosses Allison Janney, Stephanie J. Blockand Megan Hilly. It offers 148 performances.
2009 The Roundabout Theater Company’s Broadway Revival Samuel Beckettit is Waiting for Godotthe modern classic set in a desert, opens at Studio 54. Production stars Bill Irwin, Nathan Lane, John Gloverand John Goodman.
2014 Nicholas Martin, a director who brought his sharp, intelligent and brilliant style to the critical works of Mark Hampton, Becky Mode and, in particular, Christophe Durangdies at age 75. Martin has also served as artistic director of two nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts: Huntington Theater Company and Williamstown Theater Festival.
