It ran for 6,680 performances and for a time became the second longest show in Broadway history.

2013 The curious incident of the dog during the night, Simon stephenstheatrical adaptation of Marc HaddonThe novel of the same name opens at the Apollo Theater in London. The production, led by Marianne Elliott and with Luke Treadaway, originally created in National theater‘s Cottesloe Theater in 2012. It won seven Olivier Awards, including Best New Play. The following year, the production moved to Broadway, where it won the Tony Award for Best Play.
2017 Come from afar, a musical that explores the enduring bond forged between a group of travelers whose planes were diverted to a small town in Newfoundland in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, premieres on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater. The show is written by husband and wife team Irene Sankoff and David Hein, who are making their Broadway debut with the production.
